Sewing: Third Nursing Cover.

One of SIL is pregnant right now with her second baby  and she requested me to help her with a nursing cover. I was afraid in the beginning because the first nursing i have ever made was lets say...useless.
I still have it though, just like my first blouse i made (which doesn't fit me lol).
The first cover didn't have boning(i didn't know what boning was in 2006), it is too little and it doesn't have D rings, instead i made buttonholes. :D
The second one i made it for a friend. It is much better and she loves it but now that i look back... the strips are too thing, it has a button as well as the first one and the boning was the covered kind which is too thin.
And finally, i was able to find this tutorial PRUDENT BABY  which is wonderful.
I guess it is true what they say "third time is the charm" or something along those lines.

i think SIL did well for her first time. don't you think?

  2. Me encantó eso. Sobre todo cuando hay que amamantar fuera de casa.
Te felicito por tu habilidad para hacer cosas bellas y útiles.
    Cariños desde este caluroso Chile.
