CIRCUMCISION

I am extremely against circumcision (unless it is required for health issues of course).
Although, I don't have baby boys YET, i do have a husband with a broken soul.
Do I take this subject personal although i dont have baby boys????
YES, I DO! i am married to one of those baby boys that went through this.

I know, i cannot stop you from doing what you decide is right for your children but i can be give you some great resources to decide the opposite or (hopefully not) still stick with your opinion/decision.
I feel my mission as a mother and a wife of a circumcised MAN is to inform the moms out there (and dads as well) that you have a CHOICE.

This video is quite painful to watch. If you are a sensitive soul that cries for the tiniest thing like me, then DON'T WATCH IT or WATCH WITH CAUTION.
It is quite traumatic.
Note that the doctor repeats that it is a COSMETIC surgery NOT a medical necessity.

Biblical Circumcision Information
Please, if you still believe that "the Bible says so" then read this link, go to your church and ask your pastor to go into more details about this subject in the Bible.
Encourage him and yourself to do the research before you decide this is what you need to do for your child.
A friend of mine decided to ask her pastor and challenged him to explore this.
Now, they have an intact boy and he is 15 months old.

Circumcision is TRAUMATIC
Many people use the excuse that babies dont remember or dont feel pain. it is obvious that the child is in pain while the procedure is being done. They might not remember but a trauma has been put in them already.
Many grown up men who found out what has been taken away from them, tend to get very upset and wished they have made that choice for themselves.
Allow your child to decide whether he needs a circumcision or not.
In the United States is becoming more common to not be circumcised, so if you as a mom or dad are worried that your boy might not fit in, think about the future because it is more likely that being circumcised will be the strange one on the crowd.




He Didn't Cry: Babies in Shock
I had a relative tell me that his son didn't cry when he allowed the doctors to circumcised his little baby boy. i tried so hard to do some research online maybe agreeing with my relative's testimony but mostly, to disagree with him and i couldn't find anything about it until just a few days ago. His son went through a lot of these post-traumatic consequences of having a circumcision and now, it totally make sense that he just wasn't a "plain and extremely" colicky baby, but sometime major was going on in this baby's body and brain.

One thing to remember though.
If you are a mom who has allowed for your boys to go through this and now, you are having one more boy, you can still change your decision. It is NOT late!
It is not wrong of you to do different with a new child. You didn't know any better before, no one can blame you for just not knowing.
