37 weeks give or take

About 37 weeks

Based on last period i should be giving birth about the end of the month but based on ultrasound, it shouldn't be happening until mid April.
I honestly feel that i will be going at the end of the month.
I am feeling like the baby dropped more and of course, it moves and kicks and punches a lot.
The punches are a bit painful since it is already head down.
I am in the time where i am going to the potty at least 2 times at night, during day... lets not talk about it. :D too often.
I waddle if my bladder is full but at this stage full is after drink a glass of water or tea.
I am still going to the Chiropractor once a week, if i am too achy, i go 2 times.
I am still nursing my little Lulu. She had nothing to do with me getting pregnant when she was only 8 months old so i believe she should not have to deal with the consequences of it either. Which in this case will be weaning her from the breast.
I am thankful though, that God made it easy for us to continue nursing.
I was very nauseous the first 4 months of my pregnancy but it wasn't bad enough to make it hard for me to continue our bonding. i never got sore until now so that was a big plus.
Our challenge is finding a good position to nurse when you have a big belly and that belly kicks the toddler. :D
Lulu doesn't really know that there is a baby in there or maybe she is just in denial??? o.0
I had a blessingway this past Friday night.
I loved it!!!!
It means so much to me that a group of wonderful women gathered together in my home to bless me and give me words of encouragement.
i could have not been more blessed to have such amazing friends.
It is quite crazy but i went from having no one to lean on in my previous pregnancies (only Leslie but she is on the other side of the USA)to have 4 doulas friends and my awesome midwife plus i was introduced to a forum of women who think like me and have experienced homebirth or worked with doulas and midwives for their pregnancies and births plus they are all about cloth diapering, tandem nursing, cosleeping, etc.
Ben is excited about this baby too. He wants to catch the baby and Faith wants to cut the cord.
And i am ready to have this little one too but come when you are ready ok. not before not after, just right on time. :D


I love you Baby. i cannot wait to see you and hold you in my arms.

UPDATE! (03-14-2011)

I had a prenatal with my midwife this morning.
She checked on Baby and noticed that Baby is engaged (meaning very low in my pelvic bone and ready to come if it needs to). :D
she said "i give you 2 or 3 weeks the most. If you are still pregnant by April 1st. I will buy you a sundae."
Well, I just hope she is right and that she will not have to buy me a sundae.
